Career and College Promise
Earn college credit, tuition-free, while in high school! Wake Tech’s Career and College Promise (CCP) program offers eligible high school students the opportunity to earn a credential for employment or credits toward a college degree. In many cases, students can also earn dual credit - meeting high school graduation requirements with college courses.

New Students: To participate in CCP/Dual Enrollment it is recommended that you attend an information session. Click this link to get information and sign up or contact your school counselor.

Continuing Students: Students who are currently enrolled in the CCP Program will receive their Eligibility Verification (EV) Form within the Self-Service portal within the "Required Documents" section. Before beginning the form, see the Continuing Student Enrollment Checklist below. Students must submit an updated high school transcript with their EV Form. (*Transcripts with a print date between August 17, 2020 to the present day will be acceptable). The Continuing Student EV Form will be available in Self Service on September 28, 2020.

To request your transcript for CCP:If you are applying for CCP at Wake Tech and you need a transcript, request it online at wcpss.net/transcripts. Choose "Current Student" and an unofficial transcript will be mailed to your home address. When completing your request, please enter " CCP" in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS box.

CCP at Wake Tech
In order to participate in CCP at Wake Tech, the first step for the student and a parent/guardian is to attend a recommended information session with Wake Tech the semester before they plan on taking courses. The student and parent will receive important information and required documents/forms at this session. Click here for information on the next available sessions:

CCP at CCCC
Cary High School is located in Wake County, but Central Carolina Community College is another option for tuition-free dual enrollment courses as well. Their campus location is a better option for some of our students, so they do accept Cary High School students for CCP courses when seats are available. In order to apply, simply have a 2.8 unweighted GPA or higher and complete the application below.
